Netherlands's Quantum Strategy Sets 2035 Goals, Links Industry Growth to Cybersecurity

A sourced note from the 6 October 2026 morning scan. The figure of record is the original report, not this page.

The Dutch cabinet's new strategy targets technological leadership and less dependence on non-EU suppliers by 2035, building on €614.9 million previously allocated to Quantum Delta NL. It sets deadlines to finish post-quantum cryptography migration for high-risk government uses by 2030 and medium-risk uses by 2035.

Why it matters

Another national strategy with hard PQC migration dates, useful alongside Germany's €640M competition from the prior day's brief for a Europe quantum-policy angle.
